Not because it was easy. Because the problem was real, the frustration was personal, and the belief that we could build something better never went away.

to be this hard.
Finding verified hotels, event venues, shortlet apartments, and reliable service providers in Ibadan and across Oyo State was never supposed to be this hard — but it was.
Something simple would turn into frustration. You needed a place to stay, a venue for an event, or a trusted service, and suddenly you were jumping between WhatsApp chats, asking friends, and second-guessing information that didn't feel reliable. Sometimes it worked. Many times, it didn't.
There were moments it became even more obvious — like when you just needed a workspace or office space for a few hours and there was simply no clear or structured way to find one. You either settled, overpaid, or gave up entirely.
The businesses existed. The problem was that there was no system. No structure. No trust.

Even though Ladele Ajao now lives in Australia, that connection to home never left. He kept seeing the same problem repeat itself — not because the businesses didn't exist, but because there was no system.
A graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ladele has worked as an AI and Automation Engineer on projects across Nigeria and internationally. He has seen firsthand how technology can simplify complex problems and bring clarity where there is confusion.
So one day, he stopped asking "why is it like this" and started asking "what if we fix it."
That decision led to ajani.
