The Oyo State Government is set to end 2025 on a spiritual high note. Today, Monday, December 22, 2025, Governor Seyi Makinde will lead the state in its annual End-of-Year Thanksgiving Service.
The event is part of the administration’s “Omituntun 2.0” agenda. It serves as a moment to pause and reflect on a year of resilience. The chosen theme for this year is “Triumphant Praise (Iyin Isegun).”
A Star-Studded Spiritual Lineup
To headline this grand occasion, Governor Makinde has invited some of Nigeria’s most respected gospel ministers.
Leading the charge is Evangelist (Dr.) Mike Bamiloye. As the founder of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, his presence promises a session of deep spiritual insight.
Sharing the stage with him are musical powerhouses:
- Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON): The Tungba gospel maestro is expected to bring his signature energy to the event.
- Babatunmise: Known for his high-energy worship, he will lead the younger generation in praise.
- Pastor Ifeoluwa C. Odogiyan: He will anchor the prophetic prayer session for the state’s future.
